    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div>PRODUCTION COORDINATOR I</div><p><br></p><p>Defense contractor involved with product development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles in the Los Angeles International Airport area is searching for an experienced Production Expediter. &nbsp;With a 50+ year foundation, The Marvin Group supports all branches of the Department of Defense and allies around the globe on an array of programs and platforms. &nbsp;We support many military prime contractors including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SCOPE</strong></p><p>Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials according to the production schedule.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>RESPONSIBILITIES</h2><ul><li>Provide direction by communicating expectations; review planning; monitor work flow by coaching, counseling, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures</li><li>Provide leadership to IPT area in Production Control Department; make decisions; solve problems; represent department at internal and external meetings</li><li>Provide support to the production team regarding manufactured/purchased part requirements. This includes outside vendor delivery dates</li><li>Responsible for accurate status updates and tracking of parts. &nbsp;This includes updating Excel status sheets daily.</li><li>Assist with the physical routing of parts to the next work center</li><li>Must be able to think ahead to the next step in the manufacturing process and anticipate any future needs/problems</li><li>Expedite part(s) thru the production cycle, when necessary, to meet the production schedule</li><li>Assist Production Supervisors with insuring that materials for required job(s) are available and accessible</li><li>Work with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Production&nbsp;Leads in regard to rework and rejected product in order to maintain the production schedule</li><li>Ability to report status and updates to Program Managers</li><li>Have Multi Product Line Experience, to include being stationed at various assembly floors or departments</li><li>Perform New Hire Training</li><li>Maintain PDR Accuracy for assigned IPT</li><li>Other duties as assigned by management</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office based programs including Excel and Word</li><li>One year of Manufacturing experience with SAP experience</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Ability to work in an efficient and timely manner with the ability to multitask when needed</li><li>Ability to work with minimum supervision</li><li>Excellent organizational skills</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This position must meet export control compliance requirements. &nbsp;All applicants must be &ldquo;U.S. persons&rdquo; within the meaning of ITAR, as defined: &nbsp;a U.S. Citizen, a lawful permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee.</p><p><strong>Interested parties please apply online and submit resume to &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong><a href=\"http://marvingroup.com/career/adp/\" target=\"_blank\">http://marvingroup.com/career/adp/</a></p><p><strong>Visit us at marvingroup.com</strong></p><p><em>The Marvin Group is an EEO/AA/Disability/Vets Employer.</em></p><p><em>Our company uses E-Verify to confirm the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees.
