As a disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record reviews, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations. You develop a medical opinion of the likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service. The timely and expert examination assures that a Veteran’s claim is heard and dutifully processed by VBA. </span></span></p>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></span></span></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">Conduct biopsychosocial exam of claimant</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">Conducts psychological, developmental, and cognitive-deficit assessments including but not limited to test administration and interpretation.</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">Prepares intake summaries and case summaries; maintains confidential records.</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">Charts claimants’ treatment and progress in accordance with state, federal, and facility regulations and guidelines and in keeping with accepted community standards.</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">Performs other related duties as assigned by management.</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\"><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></span></span></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">Doctorate Degree in Psychology (Ph.D, PsyD)</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">Graduate of an APA accredited program</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">Active and unrestricted psychologist license in state</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n\n<p> </p>",
