Description
Job Summry: Our Client, an Agricultural Company, is looking for a qualified Survey Department team leader who will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and managing all surveying activities within the department. This role ensures that accurate survey data is collected, analyzed, and provided to support construction and project execution. The position involves supervising survey teams, ensuring compliance with standards, and optimizing workflows to achieve high-quality, cost-effective results. Responsibilities; Plan, organize, and manage survey operations to meet project and departmental objectives. Supervise, train, and evaluate surveyors and field crews. Review and validate survey data, drawings, and reports for accuracy and completeness. Ensure compliance with the surveying standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Coordinate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to provide timely survey support. Develop and implement survey methodologies, technologies, and best practices. Manage departmental resources, including equipment calibration, maintenance, and budget control. Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and authorities on survey-related matters. Reviewing and approving the invoices of the contractor and the consultant. Quantity surveying for Cut/Fill volumes. Approving the As-built drawings. Requirements Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of surveying techniques, tools, and equipment (GPS, Total Stations, Levels, etc.). Proficiency in survey-related software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Surface Modeling, Microsoft Office, etc.). Analytical skills to interpret survey data and solve technical problems. Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification in surveying (preferred). Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Demonstrated experience in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or agriculture projects. At least intermediate proficiency in English.
