As a team of valued employees, taking pride and ownership in all that we do, we will exceed expectations.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Student Pool Attendant </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">will be responsible for the cleanliness of the pool deck area and for ensuring the safety of patrons utilizing the pool. Duties also include checking and cleaning change rooms, administering first aid, assisting with emergencies, and responding to customer inquiries. You must be able to deal courteously with the public, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and work both independently and as part of a team.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Pool Attendant Qualifications &amp; Duties:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Must be attending high school full time</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Must be at least 14/15 years of age</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Must possess current LSS Bronze Medallion Award</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Current Emergency First Aid Certificate (Red Cross, LSS, or St. John Ambulance) or willing to obtain</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Must be willing to obtain the following certifications and maintain in good standing:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bronze Cross/Standard First Aid</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">NL Certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">LSS Swim for Life Instructor Certificate</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Control water slide activity</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assist with LSS Swim for Life swimming lessons</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Other duties as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Hours of Work:</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">   Weekends, evenings, and early morning shifts on weekends.
