Specific responsibilities include:\n<ul>\n <li>following proper procedures,</li>\n <li>completing work in a timely manner,</li>\n <li>prepare daily field observation reports and materials testing data sheets;</li>\n <li>performing accurate computations, and</li>\n <li>maintaining cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.</li>\n</ul>This position may require travel from time to time. \n<strong>Consideration for this position requires that following certifications or experience:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>1-3 years minimum of construction materials testing or inspection experience.</li>\n <li>ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1</li>\n <li>Radiation Safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license with good driving record.</li>\n <li>Able to use a company provided laptop or tablet computer and a working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).</li>\n <li>A good work ethic and high level of personal integrity.</li>\n <li>Authorization to work in the United States </li>\n</ul>In addition to the above required certification, hiring preference will be given to those with any of the following desired certifications:\n<ul>\n <li>TxDOT Testing Certifications</li>\n <li>ICC Special Inspector Certifications\n  <ul>\n   <li>Reinforced Concrete</li>\n   <li>Prestressed Concrete</li>\n   <li>Structural Masonry</li>\n   <li>Spray Applied Fireproofing</li>\n   <li>Structural Steel and Bolting</li>\n   <li>Structural Welding  </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder:</strong> Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
