The individual must demonstrate a developing project portfolio, where they have either led or supported medical equipment planning projects from beginning to end. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will become a vital contributor to our mission of creating end-to-end, customized, and high-quality project outcomes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist with medical equipment planning and procurement on a national team. Our unique business unit offers unparalleled opportunities for experience, growth, and job satisfaction.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support projects from beginning to end</li>\n <li>Prepare and manage project plans, resources, and schedules; evaluate medical facilities requirements and provide planning and options for client consideration</li>\n <li>Communicate directly with clinical user groups, design professionals, and multidisciplinary teams</li>\n <li>Coordinate with clinical and technical specialists and Assistant Project Managers to complete project requirements within the agreed schedule</li>\n <li>Maintain proactive communication with the project in the management of activities and deliverables</li>\n <li>Lead user groups through the requirements determination for department and room-by-room planning and selection of medical equipment</li>\n <li>Support furniture and equipment inventory activities and recommend existing equipment for future transfer</li>\n <li>Oversee the preparation and issue of deliverable reports for the client</li>\n <li>Prepare and review medical equipment procurement and bid documents</li>\n <li>Guide clients in the installation and commissioning of medical equipment</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain working relationships with vendors, obtaining equipment specification details and budget as applicable</li>\n <li>Attend and/or co-ordinate vendor demonstrations in-house, or showroom visits as applicable</li>\n <li>Assist with the development of RFP documentation and technical requirements for medical equipment</li>\n <li>Participate in team meetings and attend client site meetings as required</li>\n <li>Work independently and as part of a team in the absence of supervision</li>\n <li>Communicate with project stakeholders to answer questions, interpret data and explain requirements, regulations and procedures as applicable</li>\n <li>Deliver project cost estimates for inclusion in proposals, bids and project reports</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated experience overseeing medical equipment planning projects</li>\n <li>Experience in Design Build Finance and Maintain projects highly desirable</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the Capital Planning Processes</li>\n <li>A Biomedical Engineering Degree is desirable, or 3 years’ related experience will be considered</li>\n <li>Front line healthcare experience/ clinical background</li>\n <li>Excellent project management and organization skills</li>\n <li>Ability to support multiple projects concurrently</li>\n <li>Effectively influences others and successfully resolves a variety of client, project and technical issues</li>\n <li>Significant knowledge in various medical equipment types and systems</li>\n <li>In-depth understanding of healthcare organizations and their operational constraints</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both French and English</li>\n <li>Strong technological skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Approximate Salary Range for Assistant Project Manager: $65,000 to $75,000</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Don’t have every single qualification?</strong> We know that some people are less likely to apply for a job unless they are a perfect match.
