This role also involves providing mental health consultation and training to facility staff. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in mental health treatment and counseling.</p>\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>\n<p>• Provide direct clinical and consultation services in accordance with policies and procedures and professional organization standards.• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy/counseling to foster effective psychological functioning and reduce maladaptive behavior.• Provide crisis intervention services and complete clinical service reports for persons served as assigned.• Administer, interpret, and report on personality, intellectual, and other tests as allowed by State statutes, rules, and regulations.• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training programs, and quality improvement initiatives while maintaining accountability for services provided.</p>\n<h2><strong>Additional Details</strong></h2>We are looking for a masters level, licensed Mental Health Professional to travel and support our correctional sites in Minnesota. \n<h2><strong>Qualifications & Requirements</strong></h2>\n<p>Education</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Experience</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coursework and professional experience that indicates knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Licenses/Certifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>LMSW, LPC, or similar licensure in the state from the appropriate state licensing board.</li>\n <li>Must maintain CPR certification and any other certifications (such as First Aid) required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer</strong></h2>\n<p>We are committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of uniqueness.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We celebrate a variety of backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We encourage you to apply!</strong> If you are excited about a role but your experience doesn’t seem to align perfectly with every element of the job description, we encourage you to apply.
