The Grocery Clerk adds value to our Co-operative by providing world-class customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient.</span></span></p><p style=\"background-color: white; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 11.25pt;\"><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:</span></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Maintain sections of merchandise (non-perishable food, dairy, frozen food, general merchandise, health and beauty, bulk food) as assigned in an effective manner. Ensure first-in, first-out rotation is followed at all times, and that close-dated product is reported to the Grocery Manager.</span></span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Receive, inspect, and store orders upon delivery to ensure all product is immediately stored in proper temperature-controlled environment.</span></span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ensure the Grocery Department is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times.</span></span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Assist in building mass and bunk end displays as required.</span></span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Present a neat, clean, fresh, well-merchandised department and related work areas (sales floor, end caps, coolers, freezers, receiving area, warehouse, etc.)</span></span></p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(204, 0, 0); font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><strong>About You:</strong></span></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Previous experience in a retail grocery department is preferred but not required.</span></span></p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Available to work 30 - 35 hours per week</span></span></p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\"><a name=\"_Hlk199930643\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Open availability and willing to work different shifts including evenings and weekends.</span></span></a></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><i>Red River Co-op welcomes applications from people with disabilities.
