          "text": "<p>This position manages the processing of Refined Glycerin, Ingredient Packaging Plant and Liquid Handling Functions.&#xa0; Primary function is to ensure that the processing of Refined Glycerin, Ingredient Packaging and Liquid Handling are complete in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with government regulations and company standards.</p><p>Manage assets, plant employees, and contractors within all applicable laws and procedures while meeting or exceeding location and Company objectives. To provide leadership, technical knowledge and operational experience toward achieving Safety performance, costs, operating efficiencies, quality products, engaged, high performing employees, and providing service to customers. To advocate and support change and innovation.</p><p>Manages daily Glycerin Plant, Ingredient Packaging and Liquid Handling performance operations to achieve or exceed Company objectives:</p><ul><li>Completes regular checks of operations staff and equipment to ensure that standard operating procedures are followed and Company standards are met.</li><li>Supervises the loading of all liquid products for shipment via customer trucks or railcars.</li><li>Maintains proper coverage by managing the work schedules of operations personnel.</li></ul><ul><li>Plans and manages the operations budget to meet facility needs and production goals.</li><li>Capex, keep updated the capital projects list for the actual and five years in advance. For designated area follow projects execution and expense.</li><li>Support Food Safety /FSSC 22000 policy, procedures and audits. Keep plant Food Safety compliance.</li><li>Meet quality specifications and customer requirements through proper employee training, leadership and process measurements and control.</li><li>Energy management, cost reduction (steam, power).</li></ul><ul><li>Maintains inventory of supplies to ensure efficient operations.</li></ul><ul><li>Anticipate on/and recognize and take action for events/ situations that could adversely affect production efficiencies and/ or safety performance. Responds to issues or alarms and leads investigations as necessary.</li></ul><p>Reporting and Communication:</p><ul><li>Collect records and analyzes operations data to optimize efficiencies and product quality.</li></ul><ul><li>Serves as the liaison between the Assistant Plant Manager and personnel.</li></ul><ul><li>Notifies the Assistant Plant Manager of potential safety hazards, equipment failures, operational inconsistencies, and employee incidents.</li></ul><ul><li>Reports any equipment issues to maintenance staff.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Training and Coaching:</strong></p><ul><li>Delivers job-related training to operations personnel to increase efficiency and safety.</li></ul><ul><li>Coaches staff on the company’s performance expectations and provides ongoing performance feedback, career direction.</li></ul><p><strong>Safety:</strong></p><ul><li>Safety sensitive position</li><li>Be an active member of the facility SHE program.&#xa0; Maintains good working knowledge of SHE policies, rules and procedures applicable to area of responsibility and ensures all applicable requirements are adhered to.           "text": "<p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>4 year Technical degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Process Engineering preferred.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>Five years of supervisory/management experience in an industrial setting,</p><p>Preference for experience to be in the vegetable oil, oil refining industries, Biodiesel and glycerin production.</p><p>Plant Operations by Food Safety /FSSC 22000.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Licenses:</strong></p><p>General knowledge of the operation of Glycerin Plant, distillation process, methanol uses.</p><p>Knowledge of Process Safety Management preferred.</p><p>Knowledge of the regulatory requirements the facility operates under (e.g., OSHA, EPA, USDA) preferred.</p><p>Knowledge of ISO 9000, BQ-9000, and Food Safety preferred.</p><p>Proactive, can anticipate on situations of various origin. Trouble shooter likes a challenge.</p><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br>\nProficiency with MS Word and Excel.<br>\nAbility to withstand extended periods of walking and standing.
