He/she is also responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and all storage areas; specifically for cleaning all equipment, utensils, and the physical work area. He/she is also responsible for assisting with proper food storage and rotation.</p><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.</li><li>Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.</li><li>Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.</li><li>Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.</li><li>Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Duties &amp; Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain friendly and warm demeanor at all times.</li><li>Operate the dish-washing equipment to ensure that all china, glass and silver are cleaned thoroughly and sanitation of such is maintained.</li><li>Replace all clean china; glass and silver in its proper storage location using care to minimize breakage.</li><li>Wash pots, pans and kitchen utensils following proper procedure for their cleanliness andsanitation, storing them in the proper location.</li><li>Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and restaurant</li><li>Empty garbage from Food and Beverage areas into the hotel dumpster.•Maintain the cleanliness of the back dock and dumpster area.</li><li>Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.</li></ul>",
