This position is responsible for providing day-to-day quality engineering support, primarily supporting our machining teams (Machine Operators, Machinists, etc). This role will play an integral role in the continued growth and improvement of our Navy Systems business through achieving first pass yields, increased product flow and throughput, on-time delivery performance, and exceeding customer’s expectations. </span><br></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary range:</span> $80,000 - $100,000. Generates various reporting metrics for scrap and rework, and first pass yield. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Supports the management and disposition of non-conforming material.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Facilitates and leads the Material Review Board.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Conducts measurement systems analysis, and process capability studies as required. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Develops inspection plans used for the verification of manufactured and purchased components. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Performs first article dimensional reviews for both internal and externally manufactured parts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">5+ years of manufacturing experience in heavy industrial, automotive, aerospace, or a similar industry supporting machining, and welding and fabrication related teams</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">QMS knowledge and experience with ISO 9000, TS 16949, or AS 9100. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\">Proficient in personal computer capabilities in MS Office software, Minitab or other quality data analysis tools.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino;
