With more than 1 million on-site visitors, 224 million television viewers worldwide, close to 40 million online visits, and more than 3 billion social media engagements in 2025, why not come and enjoy the thrill and excitement of working with our team?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking <strong>Seasonal Lighting Specialists</strong><strong> </strong>to play an essential role in the US Open experience. In this role, you will be responsible for replacing light fixtures throughout the facility.</p>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Greet and assist all staff and guests in a welcoming and friendly manner</li>\n <li>Report unattended bags and packages, medical situations, incidents, or emergencies immediately to the command center</li>\n <li>Janitorial servicing of the Arthur Ashe seating bowl (inner stadium) between matches and at the end of the last match</li>\n <li>Replace light fixtures throughout the facility</li>\n <li>Responsible for cleaning the ceiling covers</li>\n <li>Responsible for cleaning out dust from the light fixtures</li>\n <li>Accept material deliveries from suppliers and place in stockrooms</li>\n <li>Provide access to stockrooms to trades and organize the space on a daily basis</li>\n <li>Conduct an inventory of materials and keep a log of materials needed to meet the target stock levels</li>\n <li>Be familiar with NTC procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have experience changing light bulbs</li>\n <li>Previous guest or customer service-related experience </li>\n <li>Punctual and presentable shift attendance, neatly groomed in a clean, well-maintained uniform</li>\n <li>Available to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament</li>\n <li>Must be able to work 12+ hour shifts and be available days, nights and weekends</li>\n <li>Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and able to stand for extended periods </li>\n <li>Personable and proactive team player with excellent communication skills </li>\n <li>Remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment as well as during stressful situations</li>\n <li>Bilingual (a plus, but not necessary)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of <strong>$19.00</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Uniforms:</strong> Employees will be provided with uniforms to ensure a professional and cohesive team appearance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Daily Meal Allowance:</strong> A meal allowance will be loaded onto your credentials each workday during the US Open, allowing you to enjoy meals on-site during your shift.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Exciting Work Environment:</strong> Be part of a dynamic team at a world-class venue, contributing to an unforgettable experience for players, staff, and fans.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2><strong>Come One, Come All</strong></h2>\n<p>We strongly encourage you to apply if you’re interested; all unique backgrounds and experiences welcome!</p>\n<p><em>USTA is dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities for all individuals, regardless of age, disability, national origin, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or expression, pregnancy, veteran status, marital status, family status, alienage or citizenship status, creed, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.</em></p>",
