    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct hands-on silicon photonic IC testing and performance characterization.</li>\n <li>Operate and maintain optical and electrical test equipment.</li>\n <li>Handle, manage and inspect fine materials with precision and care.</li>\n <li>Assist in material handling and picking for various projects.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with the Program Manager, Design Engineer, and other team members.</li>\n <li>Identify and solve problems that arise during the testing and characterization process.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records of test results and material usage.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering Physics, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Industry background with 1yr+ working experiences, lab experiences preferred</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with optical and electrical test equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Skills</u></strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in material management and handling fine materials.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.</li>\n <li>Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.</li>\n <li>Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.</li>\n <li>Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Safety Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
