The Production Unit Manager is responsible for leading a large team, ensuring safety and quality standards, and achieving production and cost efficiency goals. This role is ideal for a strong leader with a passion for continuous improvement and a deep understanding of manufacturing operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide leadership and direction to assigned departments or production lines to meet daily, weekly, and long-term production goals.</li>\n <li>Oversee and manage a workforce of 150+ employees, including both salaried and hourly staff.</li>\n <li>Plan, schedule, track, and monitor production and operational costs to ensure unit performance aligns with established objectives.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with safety protocols, lead safety programs, resolve safety-related issues, and conduct thorough incident investigations.</li>\n <li>Recruit, hire, train, and retain talent; coach team members and administer corrective actions when necessary to maintain a productive workforce.</li>\n <li>Implement and enforce best practices and company policies to maintain operational consistency.</li>\n <li>Compile and maintain timely and accurate reports on key production metrics such as efficiency, downtime, scrap, labor, and cost.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to provide clear updates and feedback.</li>\n <li>Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
