    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Memory Care Life Enrichment Assistant @ La Posada </strong>is responsible for implementing and supporting aspects of the community’s Art of Living Well philosophy and the multi-dimensions of Art of Living Well through interaction with residents, presenting classes and instruction, coordinating events, and assisting with transportation as needed. Assist in promoting a healthy, activity-enriched lifestyle for residents and associates.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: Part Time - Saturday & Sunday 10am - 6pm (every other weekend)</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay Range $16.75/hr - $18.00/hr</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Paid Vacation / 401K / Free Meal each shift</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Memory Care Department </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What will I do every day?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist Memory Care Manager to present programs that meet the emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual and vocational needs of the residents and staff</li>\n <li>Promote and monitor resident attendance and participation in all Art of Living Well programs</li>\n <li>Teach and facilitate programs as appropriate</li>\n <li>Monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in condition to the appropriate associate/department immediately</li>\n <li>Assist residents with requests as needed or find appropriate associate to assist</li>\n <li>Learn resident preferences for opportunities to provide exemplary customer service, exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction</li>\n <li>Implement a variety of group and individual Art of Living Well programs that meet the varying needs of the residents and staff</li>\n <li>Respond to residents individually to meet their Life Enrichment needs based on activity level, acuity, interests, and feedback</li>\n <li>Work with volunteers and community groups as needed to implement various programs and events</li>\n <li>Assist in setting up/tearing down Life Enrichment and community events as needed</li>\n <li>Work as part of the team within your department and across the community</li>\n <li>Perform function ability assessments and quality of life indexes for participants, as requested</li>\n <li>Support open and honest communication with and between all associates</li>\n <li>Represent the company PVBs and The Art of Living Well on a daily basis</li>\n <li>Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working</li>\n <li>Ensure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns immediately</li>\n <li>Support continuous improvement</li>\n <li>Comply with company standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient community operations</li>\n <li>Adhere to all regulations, laws and company standards, including the Associate Handbook</li>\n <li>Understand and support the community sales process</li>\n <li>Perform other related duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What will I need to be successful in this role?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bring a smile to work every day</li>\n <li>Be a great team player</li>\n <li>High school graduate</li>\n <li>One to two years’ experience in Life Enrichment programs (preferably with seniors)</li>\n <li>Background in different dimensions of Art of Living Well is beneficial</li>\n <li>Experience leading exercise classes and assisting with exercise equipment</li>\n <li>Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>First Aid Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What’s in it for me?
