The person in this position is expected to work cross functionally with various interdisciplinary teams that may comprise administrators, programs supervisors and direct line staff throughout the agency. Essential duties associated with the said position include, but are not limited to the following:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Essential Duties of Quality-Incident Investigator&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ol><li>Performing reviews of programs&rsquo; compliance with relevant health hazard and safety risk standards</li><li>Leading and completing internal incident investigations and generating comprehensive written reports with sound recommendations&nbsp;</li><li>Conducting billing compliance and quality performance reviews</li><li>Helping with timely completion of health records management processes</li><li>Gathering accurate data on programs&rsquo; compliance with applicable standards of care &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>providing data analytics that will help identify and inform on risk factors&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting with the agency&rsquo;s accreditation renewal processes&nbsp;</li><li>Responding positively to all reasonable requests from leadership in a timely manner.</li><li>Running meetings in relation to Continuous Quality Improvement, Incident Management and Compliance&nbsp;</li><li>Supporting overall strategic plan of the organization.</li><li>Adhering to the organization&rsquo;s core values and commitments.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Essential Qualifications of Quality-Incident Investigator</u></strong></p><p>Key qualifications include: &nbsp;</p><ul><li>Knowledge of Compliance and incident management in the Human Services field&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to collect accurate data and conduct analysis</li><li>High reading comprehension</li><li>Strong writing skills in English &nbsp;</li><li>Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Suites&nbsp;</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.</li><li>Adeptness to learn new software and systems for electronic health records.&nbsp;</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in social science or related field, Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li><li>Ability to access and utilize agency electronic systems (sponsored and operated) including Apps such as ADP on smartphones and/or other devices for work purposes.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<u><strong>Benefits of Quality-Incident Investigator</strong></u></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Generous PTO, 4 weeks of vacation, floating holidays, holidays, personal and sick time</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Vision Benefits</li><li>401(k) Employer Contributions</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li><li>Flex Spending Accounts</li><li>Employer Paid STD, LTD and Life Insurance</li><li>Professional Development&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Physical/Travel Requirements of Quality-Incident Investigator&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The work environment involves no physical risk or hazardous conditions.&nbsp;To perform the essential functions of this job, the candidate must be able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and use both close and distance vision.
