The Program Coordinator will assist the Program Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the program and in planning for the program&rsquo;s future growth.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></span></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Teach classes in the Welding Technology program and related certificate and continuing education programs.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assist Program Director in maintaining curricula and implement curricular revisions as determined necessary through program assessment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Advise Welding Technology students during the course selection and registration process.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assist Program Director in the continuous assessment of program effectiveness, including but not limited to retention grades, graduation rates, job placement rates, student satisfaction, employer satisfaction and student learning outcome assessment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintain weekly office hours to perform the day-to-day operations in support of the Welding Technology program and Center operations.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Monitor program material, supplies, and equipment and maintain program inventory.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ensure all laboratory facilities and equipment are in good repair and safe working condition.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Attend professional development opportunities related to both the industry and to the field of teaching and learning.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Represent the College at professional meetings and student recruitment events.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assist Program Director with building and promoting ongoing corporate training opportunities to meet the needs of industry partners.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Collaborate with other departmental leaders and the Center Director to ensure related initiatives are coordinated.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assist with the hiring and training of adjunct faculty.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.&nbsp;</li></ol><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>KEY COMPETENCIES:</strong></span></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of subject matter and maintain a contemporary skill set in current industry standards.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Skilled in the use and operation of industry equipment.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Knowledge of industry code requirements.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to communicate with students and coworkers clearly and effectively.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to work collaboratively with others.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Proficient computer skills, including MS-Office suite and LMS software.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Knowledge of teaching strategies, classroom management and assessment techniques.</li></ol><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">At minimum of three years of experience in the welding industry.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Prior teaching experience preferred.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><br></span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Shall possess a minimum of an associate&rsquo;s degree.</li></ul><p><br></p><p style=\"box-sizing: border-box;
