    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">EMH&amp;T is currently seeking a CAD Technician to join our Survey team located in Columbus, OH.&nbsp;</p><p>As the Survey Technician, you&rsquo;ll gain hands-on experience in surveying and foundational mapping skills while working under the guidance of an experience surveyor; you&rsquo;ll be responsible for processing field survey data and producing accurate, high-quality survey drawings and maps; you will utilize computer aided drafting (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) software to create technical drawings for topographical and boundary surveys; and you&rsquo;ll work closely with field crews, project managers, and engineers to ensure deliverables meet project and client expectations.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Carries out a variety of drafting assignments using independent judgment and initiative. &nbsp;</li><li>Prepares layouts, drawings and designs according to engineering specifications using CAD software.&nbsp;</li><li>Retrieves information from files, edits, produces hardcopies and updates drawings/designs. &nbsp;</li><li>Reviews engineering drawings and documentation, resolves undefined details. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Skills</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>A self-starter that demonstrates dependability and consistent work efforts.</li><li>Ability to work independently and enjoy working in a team environment.</li><li>High attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly.</li><li>Receive and apply constructive feedback.</li><li>Experience and proficiency with general surveying practices, boundary control and legal principles, preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Some technical education, specialized training or work experience with one or more CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, ARC/INFO.</li><li>Knowledge of Survey Geomatics techniques, principles, tools and various methods for graphically describing the location and distribution of land, physical relationships, and characteristics</li><li>Experience as a surveying technician is preferred.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>EMH&amp;T offers a generous benefit package to all full-time employees that includes medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, medical &amp; dependent care FSAs, paid vacation, sick and personal leaves, paid community service time off, paid parental leave, 401(k) with match, company paid life insurance, a wellness reimbursement, an employee recognition program, an employee assistance program that includes legal and identify theft services.
