    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>PRIMARY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p>Assembles designated products such as stuffing boxes, partially or completely, working at a bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Locates and identifies type, size and quantity of all components needed to assemble product.</li>\n <li>Assemble equipment according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints using hand and power tools and some measuring devices.</li>\n <li>Checks completed units, insuring proper alignment of parts and components and notes any need for modification.</li>\n <li>Conducts inspections to ensure proper operation of parts.</li>\n <li>Notifies management of malfunctions.</li>\n <li>Assists in trouble shooting, noting need for corrective action.</li>\n <li>Conducts hydrostatic tests as required or directed.</li>\n <li>Performs painting of finished product as needed.</li>\n <li>Uses forklift to move freight and/or inventory.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Reasoning Abilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Other Skills and&nbsp; Abilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read blueprints</li>\n <li>Knowledge of shop safety practices</li>\n <li>Knowledge of quality assurrance as normally acquired through in-house seminars and training.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Above average skills in: Retaining Instruction.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to: Progressively Assemble.</li>\n <li>General knowledge of: Mechanical applications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the esssential functions of this job.&nbsp; Reasonable accomodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.&nbsp; The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.&nbsp; Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.&nbsp; The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, talk or hear.
