Ensures facilities are safe, functional, and well maintained to support the mission and ministries of the Catholic Church.&nbsp;</p><p><u>Responsibilities:</u></p><ul><li>Performs general maintenance, renovation, and repair work for parish, rectory, food pantry and school facilities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Conducts preventive maintenance and safety inspections, addressing issues promptly.</li><li>Coordinate or oversee seasonal workers, volunteers, or outside contractors as assigned.</li><li>Maintains an inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. This is to be updated at least semi-annually.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures all work areas and parish or school grounds are clean, orderly, and safe for students, staff, and parishioners.    <ul>      <li>Monitors and ensures that buildings comply with safety codes.&nbsp;</li>      <li>Responsible for the cleaning of &nbsp;the parish Church, offices, gathering space, Gym and public restrooms.&nbsp;</li>      <li>Coordinates with the custodial team for the school and provides additional custodial assistance on an extraordinary basis.&nbsp;</li>    </ul></li><li>Collaborates with the Pastor, Principal, and office manager on facility needs, safety concerns, and repair priorities.</li><li><em>Ex officio </em>member of the ‘parish building committee’. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><u>Qualifications:</u></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or trade school training preferred.</li><li>Minimum three years of experience in building or facility maintenance.</li><li>Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Ability to follow established safety procedures and diocesan maintenance guidelines.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry heavy items.&nbsp;</li><li>Commitment to the values and mission of the Catholic Church.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, healthy work ethic and respect for safety standards.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><u>Reports To:</u></p><ul><li>Pastor and Principal</li></ul>",
