    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of a building and the surrounding grounds. Their job is to uphold the health and safety of a building&rsquo;s occupants by ensuring proper sanitation and a clean work environment.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>(Additional duties as assigned)</p><ul><li>Cleans the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls</li><li>Shampooing and or vacuuming rugs and carpets, using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners</li><li>Collecting and taking out trash and recycling</li><li>Sanitizing restroom facilities</li><li>Ordering cleaning supplies as needed and maintaining a thorough inventory</li><li>Be familiar with SDS location and information. &nbsp;Must wear and/or use all provided safety/protective items.</li><li>Notifies managers concerning the need for major repairs or unsafe conditions.</li><li>Adheres to dealership policies and procedures set forth by dealership management and manufacturer specifications.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Experience and Education:</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additional Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Valid New York State Driver License.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills and Attributes:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time</li><li>Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds</li><li>Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools</li><li>Time-management and multitasking abilities</li><li>Physical strength and stamina</li><li>Organizational skills</li><li>Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Equipment, Machines and Software Used:</strong></p><ul><li><em>Commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners</em></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical and Mental Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists.</li><li>Will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, showroom, service department, offices) for most of the shift.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Exertion:</strong></p><ul><li>Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 70 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.</li><li>Moderate exertion can involve sitting, walking and/or standing most of the time.</li></ul><p><strong>Environmental Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to work in all types of inclement weather outdoors and work indoors.</li><li>Occasional weekend and evening hours are required.</li></ul><p><strong>Hazards and Safety Precautions:</strong></p><ul><li><em>Hazards:</em> Slips, trips and falls, ergonomic injuries, and occasional lifting.</li><li><em>Safety Precautions:</em><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Breaks are encouraged to allow for stretching and training is provided covering slips, trips, and falls, safe lifting and stretching techniques.</li></ul><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><h1>Disclaimer:</h1><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>All requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.</li><li>This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) occupying this position.
