There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace. With the training we provide, the Field Service Technician helps Arnold to keep that standing.<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<br />\r\nEssential Job Functions</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Repairing and maintaining construction equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Travel to various job sites</li>\r\n\t<li>Class A required</li>\r\n\t<li>Disassemble, clean, and reassemble all construction equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow specifications and procedures in service manuals and select the designated tools</li>\r\n\t<li>Measure and identify parts and components for reusability or replacement, ordering new parts as required</li>\r\n\t<li>Use all test and diagnostic equipment available to make adjustments to machines and systems</li>\r\n\t<li>Make warranty recommendations and reports in representation of a prime product</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform minor welding, fabrication, plumbing alignment, and D.C. electric repairs</li>\r\n\t<li>Guide/supervise subordinates in the repair of machinery equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Practice all good housekeeping and safety measures and procedures</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete service reports in the English Language</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in the parts ordering process</li>\r\n\t<li>Process warranty work orders</li>\r\n\t<li>Process revenue field service work orders, obtain purchase orders from customers</li>\r\n\t<li>Open and close Work Orders</li>\r\n\t<li>Take phone calls for service jobs</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate the job status, progress, and/or problems to the customer</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete special projects as needed</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Non-essential Job Functions</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Assist the Service Manager with various tasks</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain a clean workspace and/or truck</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p> </p>\r\n\r\n<p>Physical Demands and Working Conditions:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain</li>\r\n\t<li>Lifting over 50 lbs. frequently</li>\r\n\t<li>Hands/arms operating equipment, hand, and power tools</li>\r\n\t<li>Seizes helps, or works with hands</li>\r\n\t<li>Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts and tools</li>\r\n\t<li>Extends hands and arms in any direction</li>\r\n\t<li>Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist</li>\r\n\t<li>Remains in standing position if required for certain repair or maintenance work</li>\r\n\t<li>Climbing In and out of equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Read work tickets, parts, and service books and operate heavy equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Communication by radio, phone, and in-person</li>\r\n\t<li>Hears well enough to discern mechanical problems for safety in and around shop and construction sites and to receive communication by radio, phone, and in-person</li>\r\n\t<li>Sits in equipment and vehicles</li>\r\n\t<li>Lies in a prone position under vehicles and equipment</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Ability to use MICROSOFT EXCEL, WORD.
