Serves as a subjectmatter expert and provides guidance across pharmacies and to clinical leadership.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.</li>\n <li>Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties as associates they lead.</li>\n <li>Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/orprocedures. May resolve scheduling issues. </li>\n <li>Oversees daily activities of the pharmacy technicians under the direction of the pharmacists andmanagement.</li>\n <li>Assists with specialty projects and tasks as assigned by Pharmacy management. Participates in problem solving within the department.</li>\n <li>Provides input into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Need</h2>\n<p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently certified as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Institute for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Preferences</h2>\n<p>No Additional Preferences</p>\n<h2>About UAB St. Vincent’s</h2>\n<p>UAB St. Vincent’s, a proud part of UAB Medicine, is a trusted provider of health care, serving Alabama for more than 125 years.
