We invite you to apply to join our team of employees who are dedicated to excellence that meet the needs of the warfighters and our customers around the world, day in and day out.\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation | Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications | Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment | Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures\n<h2>Impact of the Role</h2>\n<h3>General Profile</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires skills developed through formal training or work experience</li>\n <li>Works within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify approach</li>\n <li>Completes assigned tasks with a moderate degree of supervision</li>\n <li>Performs manual tasks according to established procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Operates, tests, and monitors assigned equipment according to established guidelines for an organization. </li>\n <li>Observes and conducts operation of equipment and documents maintenance needs. </li>\n <li>Troubleshoots control panels, error lights, and messages to ensure proper equipment function. May communicate with equipment technicians relating to highly complex issues. </li>\n <li>Verifies equipment data for reporting. Supports and assists with the installation of operating equipment. </li>\n <ul>\n  <h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Required education and experience:</strong> High School Diploma/GED required and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Preferred education and experience:</strong> Vocational/Technical Training Degree</li>\n   <li><strong>Knowledge, skills & abilities:</strong> Oral and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow directions. Clerical skills. Ability to lift/move heavy objects. Physical stamina.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.</li>\n   <li>Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.</li>\n   <li>May need to stand for long periods of time.</li>\n   <li>Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.</li>\n   <li>May be requested to work a different shift.</li>\n   <li>Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required.</li>\n   <li>This position is Safety-Sensitive.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Travel Requirements</h2>No or very little travel likely.\n  <h2>_____________________________</h2>The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
