We provide you with an accelerated Dermatology Tech course upon hire to ensure you are prepared for the rigors of the job!</p>\n<p>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rooming patients and updating patient information into EMR system</li>\n<li>Accurately obtaining chief complaint</li>\n<li>Transcribing for providers during exams</li>\n<li>Assisting with biopsies and select surgical procedures</li>\n<li>Administering local anesthesia</li>\n<li>Educating patients on treatment plans</li>\n<li>Managing patient prescriptions/pathology/labs</li>\n<li>Assisting with cosmetic procedures</li>\n<li>Stocking rooms with necessary supplies</li>\n<li>Sanitizing all work areas throughout the day and after each patient</li>\n<li>Following through with individual side tasks</li>\n</ul>\n<p>APPLICANT CHARACTERISTICS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dependable and punctual</li>\n<li>Prefers a fast pace work environment</li>\n<li>Excels in team atmosphere</li>\n<li>Well-organized with attention to detail</li>\n<li>Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work</li>\n<li>Empathetic with patient needs and concerns</li>\n</ul>\n<p>EXPERIENCE:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>College-level human A&amp;P: 1 year (Plus)</li>\n<li>Medical Assisting: 1 year (Plus)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified Medical Assistant Certification (Plus)</li>\n</ul>",
