    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p><p>Manages a team of production planners, assists in planning and scheduling production and monitoring performance against estimates. Responsible for capacity, production and material planning.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; DUTIES</strong></p><ul><li>Supervises and assists production planning team.</li><li>Develop detailed production schedules for all manufacturing processes, considering lead times, capacity constraints, and material availability.</li><li>Coordinates various departments of manufacturing.</li><li>Works on process improvements to ensure smoother operations for all departments.</li><li>Supports and trains all departments to ensure proper processes in the MRP system.</li><li>Work with manufacturing leadership and HR to suggest head count adjustments to support demand requirements.</li><li>Plan and manage production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of all customer orders.</li><li>Provide solutions to overcome capacity challenges to maintain on-time delivery.</li><li>Ensure that materials and equipment are available when needed for production process.</li><li>Plans and coordinates changes in scheduling to accommodate special requests.</li><li>Recommends new policies or procedures as necessary.</li><li>Maintaining inventory, production operations, and scheduling parameters within MRP/ERP.</li><li>Prepares Production KPIs &ndash; for example plan vs actual labor hours and output and OTD.</li><li>Close collaboration with manufacturing, purchasing, and materials personnel on material status and production planning.</li><li>Expediting and prioritizing job orders with Project Managers.</li><li>Coordinating and managing internal production meetings.</li><li>Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, and the ability to work on&ndash;site.</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.</li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>To ensure Kelvion&rsquo;s Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, Operational Framework</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES)</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to supervise up to 10 exempt employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Kelvion Inc.&rsquo;s policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.</li><li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Google Docs software required.</li><li>Experience operating within MRP and ERP systems and scheduling (APS) tools required to include a solid understanding of manufacturing, resource capacity controls, production routes, and material management functions.</li><li>Ability to clearly communicate, collaborate, and infuse urgency to planning and manufacturing team. Directing employees&rsquo; work; planning and controlling the budget for department; providing for the safety of the employees; planning the work; determining the techniques to be used; apportioning the work among the workers.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of proven experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials management, and inventory control principles.&nbsp;</li><li>Advanced understanding of manufacturing Supply Chain required.&nbsp;</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is a benefit.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
