We are changing how care is delivered by bringing together people like you: compassionate, highly skilled, and motivated to make a difference!</p><p>The primary purpose of the&nbsp;<strong>Dietary Aide</strong>&nbsp;is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures while delivering on the Eduro Healthcare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results.</p><p><strong>**Daily Pay Available**</strong></p><p><strong>Dietary Aide Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul class=\"editor-ul tight\" data-tight=\"true\"><li><p>Ensure that safety precautions, life safety, and infection control policies and procedures are followed during the daily work assignments.</p></li><li><p>Prepare food as assigned and assist cook as needed, assuring that food is handled and stored using proper procedures. Gain knowledge of diets and menus.</p></li><li><p>Serve meals, clear the main dining room, and wipe tables.</p></li><li><p>Wash dishes and equipment and thoroughly clean work area.</p></li><li><p>Make sure tray preparation follows prescribed menus and resident likes and dislikes are honored when possible.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and distribute snacks to the nursing department as needed.</p></li><li><p>Stock storeroom and bring out stock as needed.</p></li><li><p>Take out trash; sweep and mop floors in main dining room, kitchen, and pantry; wipe pantry shelves; scrub baseboards and walls as needed; clean appliances, equipment, freezers, etc.; always leave kitchen clean and orderly.</p></li><li><p>Invite and arrange for families to eat with their related residents periodically.</p></li><li><p>Clean and sanitize all carts, wash and put away dishes, and take out garbage and recycling.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Dietary Aide Requirements:</strong></p><ul class=\"editor-ul tight\" data-tight=\"true\"><li><p>Must complete mandatory drug test upon hire.</p></li><li><p>Must have a current Food Handler’s Permit.</p></li><li><p>Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus!</p></li></ul><p><strong>Other Duties</strong></p><p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
