    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Now Hiring Loan Accountant</strong></p>\n<p>The Loan Accountant will maintain the integrity of the General Ledger reporting system by ensuring that all entries are posted in a timely manner and subsidiary ledgers are reconciled and closed in accordance with established procedures. &nbsp;Coordinates the processing of loan payments to customer accounts by performing data input into the loan accounting and general ledger systems and performs administrative and general accounting activities. <strong>Position is based in Alachua, FL.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepares and processes the deposit and daily work for assigned branches to include processing of all accrual note modifications, renewals, refinances and new loans.</li>\n <li>Ensures FASB91 time record is adequately completed.</li>\n <li>Processes check reversals and notifies appropriate branch office when checks are returned; completes journal vouchers, assesses appropriate fees and prepares reversal payment entries.</li>\n <li>Re-prices notes processed per policy, including, but not limited to notifying the appropriate personnel when a re-price note has been booked.</li>\n <li>Eform for loans with a rate lock that close are submitted to AgFirst FCB when not posted correctly by system.</li>\n <li>Reviews, verifies and corrects system generated reports for assigned branches.</li>\n <li>Maintains the highest quality of customer service during calls, deals tactfully to resolve customer complaints and inquiries, and follows appropriate company standards/procedures.</li>\n <li>Serves as backup for any centralized accountant and their duties.</li>\n <li>Serves as consultant/advisor for assigned branch location loan specialists.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>To qualify for this position, candidates should possess the following:</p>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.</p>\n<p><strong>Experience: </strong>Minimum of three (3) years of accounting and/or accounting systems experience.</p>\n<p><strong>Other Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong background in GAAP, analytical and detail oriented.</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task, with strong planning and organizing skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to use discretionary judgment in making sound decisions and solving problems.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently.</li>\n <li>Professional appearance, strong communication skills and work ethics.<br>\n  &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>Farm Credit of Florida is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
