    "description_html": "<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY: </strong>Under the direction of the Branch Executive Director, the Wellness Director oversees a department that includes cardiovascular and strength training equipment, group exercise studios providing premiere group exercise programs, and a versatile staff of wellness coaches, group exercise instructors, personal trainers, and massage therapists (if applicable).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Serves as part of a team with the Association and other Branch Wellness Director(s), designs a strategic, multi-year plan for the Wellness Department, fitting with the overall fiscal and strategic plan of the organization. This strategic plan must include:</li><li>Quarterly evaluation and revision of current programming</li><li>Member Retention Initiatives</li><li>Special Events planning and implementation</li><li>New program design and implementation</li><li>Active participation in teaching, training and coaching members.</li><li>Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information, may organize and schedule program registrations.</li><li>Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community organizations. Constantly assess the community for needs, opportunities and threats as they pertain to the successful development of the Wellness Department.</li><li>Develops and monitors program budget to meet fiscal objectives.</li><li>Supervise Health Innovations Coordinator(if applicable):</li><li>Ambassador program/wellness appointments</li><li>Health Innovations programming</li><li>Oversee Wellness Staff:</li><li>Hire/train/supervise wellness floor</li><li>Implement member service standards</li><li>Oversee wellness appointments and tracking</li><li>Oversee Group Exercise</li><li>Hire/train/supervise instructors</li><li>Oversee quality, variety, consistency</li><li>Oversee “Ready and Open for Business” staging for studios</li><li>Oversee Personal Training</li><li>Hire/train/supervise trainers</li><li>Increase revenue</li><li>Reviews and evaluates staff performance.</li><li>Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.</li><li>Develop staff retention initiatives.</li><li>Job training and development of all new Wellness staff is the responsibility of the Wellness Director and should not be delegated to other staff.</li><li>Oversee Wellness events</li><li>Manages Payroll and Group Ex Pro for Wellness Staff</li><li>Work Environments</li><li>Ensure office is clean and a welcoming professional environment</li><li>Be visible on Wellness Floor</li></ul><p><em>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
