    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>The&nbsp;<strong>Specimen Collector</strong> is responsible for collecting biological specimens at client sites for the purpose of conducting scientific testing. Duties will include maintaining the integrity of the collection process, maintaining records for reporting purposes, obtaining initial insurance verification for billing purposes, and packaging the specimens for shipment.<br><br><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\">Foster open communication between the client and Aegis<br>Sales Management</li><li dir=\"auto\">Follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sample collection</li><li dir=\"auto\">Ensure the integrity of each &lsquo;Chain of Custody&rsquo; and sample:<ul><li dir=\"auto\">Sufficient sample volumes</li><li dir=\"auto\">Samples properly labeled and sealed</li></ul></li><li dir=\"auto\">Ensure sample requisitions are complete and all information is correct:</li><li dir=\"auto\">Utilize Electronic Lab Requisitions (ELR) &ldquo;FLUID&rdquo; for sample submissions</li><li dir=\"auto\">Answer questions from client/patients regarding Aegis policies</li><li dir=\"auto\">Complete and maintain required Compliance Training<ul><li dir=\"auto\">HIPAA Training, etc.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\">Annual Lease Agreements (where required)</li></ul></li><li dir=\"auto\">Comply with all applicable safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)</li><li dir=\"auto\">Order supplies and manage budget with RSM and ASM as required</li><li dir=\"auto\">Verify insurance information through Passport as needed</li><li dir=\"auto\">Request/collect payment from patients (where applicable)</li><li dir=\"auto\">Maintain regular communication with Regional Sales Manager and Area Sales Manager</li><li dir=\"auto\">Support ASM/RSM in his/her marketing and sales objectives with regards to sample collection</li><li dir=\"auto\">Maintain an excellent working knowledge of Aegis testing services</li><li dir=\"auto\">Encompass a &ldquo;can do&rdquo; attitude and represent Aegis in a professional, positive manner</li><li dir=\"auto\">Participate in process improvements, including process definition, measurement analysis, and implementation of controls</li><li dir=\"auto\">Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\">Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\">Other duties as required and assigned</li></ul><p><strong>A Successful Candidate Must Possess:</strong></p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED required</li><li>Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and extreme confidentiality</li><li>Experience in the healthcare/medical field is preferred</li><li>Excellent customer service skills are essential to success in this role</li><li>Positive approach and attitude in patient interactions&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work on multiple tasks without sacrificing quality, attention to detail, and ability to interact with staff at all levels is required</li><li>Basic computer knowledge including, but not limited to:<ul><li>Ability to send, receive, and monitor emails</li><li>Basic understanding of web site navigation including URL and how to enter website addresses</li><li>Ability to maintain and enter usernames/password and understand why credentials are important</li><li>Basic understanding of ports on a computer (USB for signature pad, printers)</li><li>Ability to type at least 40 words per minute&nbsp;</li><li>Experience and understanding of Windows operating system</li><li>Preferred experience with tablets and use of a stylus</li><li>Knowledge of how to save or delete files and folders</li><li>Understanding necessity of security measure</li></ul></li></ul><p><br></p><p>Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:30am&ndash;1:00pm and 5:00pm&ndash;7:45pm; Wednesday from 8:30am&ndash;1:00pm; and Friday from 8:30am&ndash;12:30pm.<!--EndFragment--></p><p>Our Total Reward Package for this role includes full benefits (medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, 401K, Life Insurance, and PTO), eligibility to participate in annual team member bonus plan, and starting pay at $16+/hour or higher (dependent on experience and state/local laws).</p><p>Aegis Sciences Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
