The successful candidate will have previous experience working with AV systems such as the following but not limited to; Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco and Extron.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Support, lead, and mentor team members.</li><li>Install and service cabling infrastructure and audio / visual devices; includes pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labelling per specifications / drawings.</li><li>Install audio / visual equipment, including: audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control systems, public announcement systems and all presentation systems.</li><li>Interact with customers and prospects, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally.</li><li>Ensure that safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.</li><li>Complete detailed and accurate paperwork.</li><li>Support, lead, and mentor team members.&#160;&#160;</li><li>Design systems and layout.</li><li>Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism.</li><li>Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessary.&#160;&#160;</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul><br><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong><ul><li>Ability to read and interpret AV functional and construction drawings</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail</li><li>Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices</li><li>3 - 5 years&#8217; experience installing AV&#160;Systems preferred but experience from an electrical, mechanical and/or construction environment will be considered</li><li>Comfortable working at heights</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in the use of relevant tools and equipment.</li><li>Valid Driver&#8217;s License with clean abstract</li><li>Must be able to pass a background check</li><li>Able to work at a minimum with no supervision</li><li>Willing to start CTS Certification program within three months of employment</li><li>Willing to work one on-call shift per month</li></ul><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><ul><li>Certification with Crestron, QSC, CTS, Extron and BiAmp would be considered an asset</li><li>Post-secondary education in electronics, electrical, telecommunications, or equivalent would be an asset</li></ul><br><strong>Salary Range:</strong>&#160;$26.68 - $35.84 DOE<br><strong>Vacancy Status: This posting is for a current and existing vacancy</strong><br><br><strong>Physical Demands:</strong><br>In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.&#160;<ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee&#160;is regularly required to&#160;stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop.
