          "text": "<p>CEDA is currently seeking 10 Driver/Operators for Vale Properties at our Sudbury, ON location! If you’re looking for a company that will give you the opportunity to&#xa0;<strong>learn and gain experience</strong>&#xa0;on pieces of equipment like vacuum trucks and high pressure water jetting units, apply today!&#xa0; No travel or accommodation will be provided.</p><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>$30 - $35&#xa0;per hour</strong>&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Eligible for Overtime</strong></li><li><strong>Monday – Friday local&#xa0;staged</strong> opportunity at various mining operations plus adhoc work within Ontario as needed.</li><li><strong>Shift work will be required, </strong>typical shifts will be 7-7 AM or PM</li><li>Opportunity to&#xa0;<strong>learn and gain experience</strong>&#xa0;on all pieces of equipment like vacuum trucks, high pressure water jetting units and chemical cleaning units!</li><li><strong>Variety:</strong>&#xa0;changing work scopes from one day to the next – there is always a new challenge</li><li>Be a part of a true&#xa0;<strong>team</strong>. Our work is difficult but we get it done safely, with great people</li></ul><p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate and maintain vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools</li><li>Proficient in driving manual transmissions</li><li>90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground!</li><li>Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity</li><li>Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back</li><li>Ensure safety for all team members and property</li><li>Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision</li><li>Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions</li><li>Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment</li><li>Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents</li><li>Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time</li><li>Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Role Specifications</strong></p><ul><li>Valid class AZ or DZ license with no more than 5 demerits in the last two years</li><li>1+ years of directly related work experience operating vacuum truck, chemical cleaning equipment, high pressure/water trucks and/or combo units is considered an asset, not required</li><li>Driving is in your nature, then passing CEDA’s Driver Assessment in a manual transmission will be a breeze (10, 13 and 18 speed)</li><li>Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test</li><li>Able to travel throughout Ontario (flexibility in scheduling is required)</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong mechanical aptitude</li><li>You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment</li><li>Experience and comfort with confined spaces</li><li>Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)</li><li>Comfortable with the use of additional respiratory equipment and air supply; wearing a full face mask and carrying your own source of oxygen</li><li>You’re happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely</li></ul>",
