Transport equipment up and down the terraces, travel up and down stairs and inclines and through swinging doors.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Set up standard and complex meal settings with instructions.</p><p>&nbsp;Set up receptions and theme parties.</p><p>&nbsp;Carry a tray and walk (with 10 serving plates or 20 dishes and silverware.)</p><p>&nbsp;Bend and lift trays with equipment on them.</p><p>&nbsp;Serve a plate while holding 2 or 3 in the other hand.</p><p>&nbsp;Pour a beverage while holding a bottle or pot in the other hand.</p><p>&nbsp;Work with your hands.</p><p>&nbsp;Transport equipment to and from work areas.</p><p>&nbsp;Handle and set up props, storage and care of same.</p><p>&nbsp;MENTAL/EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>&nbsp;Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer service-oriented environment; to perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner; to work as part of a team as well as to complete assignments independently; to take instructions from supervisors; to exercise problem solving skills; and to interact with co-workers, supervisors, guests and the public in a professional and pleasant manner; and to provide Elevated Service and maintain a calm atmosphere in the function areas.</p><p>&nbsp;SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>&nbsp;Must learn and comply with all Hotel safety rules; must use appropriate safety equipment at all times; must immediately report all unsafe condition to supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features or equipment, machinery, or materials encompassed by job duties; and must check with supervisor if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function.</p><p>&nbsp;ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Associates must fulfill the performance standards of this position and comply with policies, rules and procedures of the Hotel, including those set out in the Associate Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or in writing) to associates.
