    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">School Wellness Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Arizona’s first and only autism-focused charter school is seeking a School Wellness Certified Nursing Assistant to work at our Tucson Campus.<span> </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Under the supervision and direction of the School Nurse, the School Wellness Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for supporting students with medical needs on the Campus.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Duties:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Administer student medications under the direct training and supervision of the district School Nurse </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support students who are medically fragile in their daily living at school at the Tucson Campus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support a student 1:1 with medical and physical needs during the school day</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support students’ individualized medical/emergency plans under the direction of the district School Nurse</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Track chronic illness documentation and ensure communication to the Registrar, School Nurse, and the classroom teacher</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Prioritize and administer basic first aid following the assessment of injured students </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Communicate effectively and proactively with students, families, and the district School Nurse </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work as part of a team and handle critical situations safely and effectively</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">May be used as a backup to cover the front desk</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Participate in annual and ongoing staff training</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Other duties as directed</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Valid CNA certification with the Arizona State Board of Nursing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Current CPR certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Prior school experience is preferred</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Benefits:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Competitive pay based on experience </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Paid Time Off</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Great professional development and advancement opportunities!</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Positions in this class require:  stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Light Work:  </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Working Conditions:  </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work is routinely performed in an indoor classroom environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt\">The information contained in this job description is for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is not an exhaustive list of the duties performed by this position.
