The role goes beyond the traditional Pharmacist in Charge by integrating operational execution, team leadership, and strategic alignment with organizational goals.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead daily pharmacy operations with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Board of Pharmacy requirements.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), maintaining licensure and regulatory standards.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fulfillment workflows and inventory management.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor and develop pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure high standards of patient care and fulfillment accuracy.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Support strategic initiatives that enhance pharmacy services, operational scalability, and customer satisfaction.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as a liaison between pharmacy operations and corporate leadership, contributing insights and recommendations. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional Responsibilities including Patient Management.<strong> </strong> </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Establish and manage delivery services for all patients.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain clinical monitoring programs for all therapies, patients, and accreditation programs as appropriate.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate start of care with nurse/physician.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate with nurses and physicians in the development and revision of patient plans of care. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Participating in the Strategic Improvement Plan (Performance Improvement Plan).  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The above duties are meant to be representative of the position and not all-inclusive.</strong> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, information technology, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience accepted. </li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmacy operations, informatics, or automation systems management.</li>\n <li>Proven success coordinating technology initiatives in a regulated pharmacy fulfillment environment.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting pharmacy management systems (e.g., Epic, EnterpriseRx, PioneerRx, Parata, ScriptPro, or similar).</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Travel to alternate pharmacy sites, conferences, and meetings as needed, typically <20%</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>PharmD and licensure in Indiana preferred but not required.</li>\n <li>Experience with automation, robotics, IVR, or warehouse systems integration in mail-order or specialty pharmacy settings.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with HL7, SQL, API integrations, and reporting tools.</li>\n <li>Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, or equivalent) or Pharmacy Informatics certification a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Deep understanding of pharmacy workflows, dispensing systems, and automation technology.</li>\n <li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and operational domains.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making mindset.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, inventory systems, and reporting platforms.</li>\n <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Noise and/or vibrations exposure</li>\n <li>Reaching (overhead), handling, and feeling</li>\n <li>Lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Stand and sit for prolonged periods of time</li>\n <li>Occasionally stoop, kneel, and crouch</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p>#INKMW</p>\n<p>The expected base pay range for this position is $155K–$185K. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule.
