    "description_html": "<p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p><p>The Compliance Investigator will conduct compliance investigations for the California Tribal TANF Partnership as directed by the Compliance Director. The investigations will be completed on participants of CTTP, and contractors/consultants that are referred to the Compliance Department for fraud cases and special cases that need direct attention. The Compliance Investigator will also assist the Compliance Director with fraud cases and special projects directed and referred by Administration.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Assist in the investigation of fraud cases assigned by the Compliance Director</li><li>Review questionable applications for TANF benefits submitted to the Central Office. Coordinate with the Compliance Director for approval or denial of application.</li><li>Review all case management files at headquarters and satellite offices for compliance to ensure that all supporting documentation is properly filed.</li><li>Keep informed and up to date on Federal and State Regulation record-keeping requirements.</li><li>Prepare clear, concise, and accurate records and reports, including regular compliance report for Compliance Director.</li><li>Perform Compliance training for all new site personnel and schedule in-service training as needed.</li><li>Interact with governmental agencies to ensure records and agency documents are available to clients for record keeping purposes.</li><li>Maintain close communication with the Compliance Director and Program Services Director, and collaborate with other CTTP staff regularly.</li><li>Help Site Managers to make referrals to appropriate agencies and programs.</li><li>Detect and evaluate potential fraudulent situations.</li><li>Enter data accurately into computerized system.</li><li>Identify when computer output is inaccurate and make corrections.</li><li>Interpret and explain regulations and policy directives.</li><li>Explain complex rules and programs to Satellite Office personnel.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Compliance or Program Services Directors.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
