Description

Objective of the Position: Ensures that Operations meets or exceeds efficiency and corporate quality standards by participating in and directing activities of team members in assigned departments. This is a 3rd shift role. Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that Completes all documentation and reporting associated with the position in a timely and accurate manner. Directs department in a manner that promotes high morale, teamwork, productivity and quality. Ensure properly administered cross-training and orientation programs for production associates. Ensures that job performance problems and conflicts are resolved quickly and fairly in accordance with EETAM policies with assistance from the Human Resource Department. Identifies and records any problems related to progress of work, downtime and quality. Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards through efficient use of all resources and support available. Recommends and implements solutions to issues and drives continuous improvement activities in support of goals and objectives set by Manager. Supervise and coordinate all activities of employees assigned to department. Manages timecards, attendance and schedules daily in time and attendance tracking system. Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements. Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements. Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all EETAM polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality. Other duties as assigned. Requirement Profile: Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business, Management or closely related field. Minimum three years’ experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment. Minimum three years’ experience working for a manufacturing supplier preferably automotive in an operational role. Technical Expertise: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence. Analytical- Synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures . Business Acumen- Understands business implications of decisions. Knowledge of continuous improvement of products for manufacturability. Knowledge of engineering fundaments, mechanical systems, automotive systems, and exhaust systems. Knowledge of federal and state regulations. Project Management- Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities.
