This role uses hands-on mechanical expertise and basic electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair routine equipment issues with minimal supervision while supporting production goals and equipment reliability.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Essential Duties</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe and reliable equipment performance.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair standard mechanical issues such as bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, and drives, escalating complex or electrical problems when necessary.</li><li>Possess a solid understanding of manufacturing equipment, components, and operating principles, with the ability to identify and resolve common mechanical or minor electrical issues safely and efficiently.</li><li>Demonstrate basic electrical knowledge and adherence to electrical safety standards when inspecting, testing, or repairing equipment.</li><li>Utilize the Maintenance Management System (MMS) to document work orders, track repairs, and maintain accurate maintenance records.</li><li>Understand production priorities and equipment performance needs, coordinating maintenance work to minimize downtime and support operational goals.</li><li>Perform equipment inspections, adjustments, and part replacements, ensuring proper function and extending equipment life.</li><li>Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to complete maintenance and repair activities effectively.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.</li><li>Follow and promote safety policies and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, immediately reporting or correcting unsafe conditions as needed.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Required Skills and Abilities</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Basic understanding of electrical safety and troubleshooting practices.</li><li>Proficient in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions, schematics, and manuals.</li><li>Familiarity with Maintenance Management Software (MMS) for documenting and tracking work orders.</li><li>Effective problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills; self-motivated and able to work independently.</li><li>Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations for measurements, tolerances, and part alignment</li><li>Effective prioritization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li><li>Consistent commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Education and Experience</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial equipment, and preventive maintenance practices normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.</li><li>Technical coursework, vocational training, or apprenticeship experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods of time.</li><li>Capability to lift and carry objects of various weights up to 100 pounds frequently.</li><li>Proficiency in using hands, fingers, and arms for tasks such as typing and writing.</li><li>Sufficient visual acuity to read documents and recognize details at close and distant ranges.</li><li>Ability to hear and understand verbal communication.</li><li>Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach low or high objects.</li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy objects.</li><li>Adaptability to work in varying environmental conditions, such as temperature extremes, noise, dust, or fumes, depending on the nature of the job.</li><li>Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear protective gear, including helmets, goggles, gloves, and safety shoes, as required by the job.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Company Culture &amp; Values</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>A Commitment to Our Purpose (COMMITTED PEOPLE) &ndash; Our mission is to serve and build up our customers, suppliers, communities, and each other, guided by the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
