    "description": "<p>Rock West Composites, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a<span> Warehouse Supervisor.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Rock West Composites, Inc. is an engineering and manufacturing company dedicated to providing innovative solutions for commercial and government<span> </span><span>customers.</span><span> </span><span>This position is located in San Diego, Ca at our Aircraft Facility and reports to our Supply Chain Director.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Position Summary:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63); font-size: 12pt\">The position will be responsible for leading warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, staff supervision, and overall management of the facility to maintain a safe and efficient department.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Warehouse Operations &amp; Team Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overseeing daily warehouse operations.</li>\n<li>Ensuring efficient and accurate processes for receiving, storing, and shipping goods.</li>\n<li>Providing leadership and guidance to warehouse workers, delegating tasks, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. <br></li>\n<li>Training new employees on warehouse procedures and best practices.</li>\n<li>Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback.</li>\n<li>Motivating and encouraging warehouse staff to maintain a high level of productivity and teamwork.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Inventory Control &amp; Operational Efficiency</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing inventory levels, tracking stock, and ensuring accurate inventory records.</li>\n<li>Overseeing the timely and accurate processing of orders, from picking and packing to shipping.</li>\n<li>Ensuring the warehouse and its equipment are well-maintained and organized.</li>\n<li>Identifying and resolving operational issues and challenges.</li>\n<li>Identifying and implementing strategies to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reporting and Performance Metrics</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementing and enforcing safety procedures and protocols to create a safe working environment.</li>\n<li>Operate at all times in compliance with Rock West Composites’ quality management system, including adherence to AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.</li>\n<li>Comply with Rock West Composites’ company policies, procedures, and code of business conduct.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reporting, Performance &amp; Professional Expectations</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generating reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and performance metrics.</li>\n<li>Organized, self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.</li>\n<li>Exhibit and promote an attitude that leads to an engaged and energized workforce.</li>\n<li>Be a team player: hungry, humble, and people-smart.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</span>:</span></p>\n<p>Other duties as assigned.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Education and Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School diploma / GED is required</li>\n<li>Pursuit of a higher education level preferred.</li>\n<li>3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment.</li>\n<li>Composite manufacturing experience is a big plus.</li>\n<li>Must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills and work effectively across all areas of the business</li>\n<li>Current computer literacy is a must, including full proficiency in the use of the entire Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook)</li>\n<li>Experience with AS9100 quality management system</li>\n<li>US.
