We are a TAP school!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>REPORTS TO/TERM:</strong></p><ul><li>Principal&nbsp;</li><li>Full Time 10-month position&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Key Functions&nbsp;</strong></p><p>A Classroom Assistant is required to perform the following duties:</p><ul><li>Work collaboratively and harmoniously with Lead Classroom Teacher</li><li>Accept and incorporate feedback and coaching from Lead Teacher and Administrative Team</li><li>Support established classroom rules and protocol</li><li>Fill in as Teacher when Lead Teacher is absent when asked</li><li>Motivate and support students in reaching high levels of academic success</li><li>Create a positive student culture around online learning and small group tutoring</li><li>Maintain high behavioral expectations for all students</li><li>Interpret, manage, and utilize multiple sets of data in order to best support student progress</li><li>Perform targeted individual assistance and small group tutoring</li><li>Assist with the creation of individual learning plans for each student enrolled</li><li>Maintain frequent communication with students and their support network regarding academic progress</li><li>Communicate and collaborate with teachers and school administrators</li><li>Participate in staff development opportunities</li><li>Participate in all required staff meetings</li><li>Ensure the security of computer equipment and accessories</li><li>Perform other duties, as deemed appropriate, by Lead Classroom Teacher and Principal</li></ul>",
