Defend Freedom&reg;, is accomplished by serving customers and providing top-quality solutions to our military, law enforcement, and civilian customers seeking premium firearms for home defense, hunting, and sport shooting.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>The <strong>Technical Sales Advisor</strong> will be responsible for the functions outlined below</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manages the Daniel Defense fleet of demonstration and trade show firearms. Including shipping firearms to various events.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain and repair demonstration firearms, replace worn parts, clean and lubricate firearms.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Keep records of firearm shipments and conduct routine inventory audits</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Train Daniel Defense customers, including law enforcement and military on armorer level tasks with Daniel Defense firearms.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Plan and conduct live fire demonstration events for Daniel Defense employees and customers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure and provide timely quality service to all customers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Respond to customer inquiries by phone, e-mail and web contacts to provide technical problem resolution within the timeline established by Director of Revenue Operations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Resolve intermediate and complex customer problems and communicate solutions or requested information to the customer.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyze customer&rsquo;s service needs using experience and refer to other service or technical departments as a last resort.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Utilize a database to record activities and research product information.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work under limited supervision in both office and remote settings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Rely on experience to perform the functions of the job.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participates in the company&rsquo;s efforts to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.</li></ul></div><p><br></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1+ years<strong>&nbsp;</strong>of prior Customer Service experience or equivalent combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Teamwork and the ability to cooperate and work proactively with others is a must.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to manage time efficiently.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Great attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Self-motivated; willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook Word).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works under direct supervision.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Company Values.</li></ul></div><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Physical Requirements:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the normal work day &ndash; extensively at trade shows, meetings, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p><strong>Daniel Defense is an EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability employer and promotes a &quot;Drug Free Workplace&quot;.</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Note: The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by those assigned to the job.
