Your schedule will vary week to week, based on a combination of manager-assigned shifts and those you pick up through our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift self-scheduling program. Shifts, days, locations, and assignments will change regularly, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals who are adaptable, dependable, and ready to take on new challenges. Please note that you will be assigned to work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice to support client needs. </p>\n<p> As a <strong>Security Officer Flex Driver</strong> in <strong>Ontario, CA</strong>, you’ll expand your skillset, gain exposure to a variety of sites, and position yourself for advancement within the company. This is more than just a job—it’s a pathway to a long-term career. </p>\n<p><strong> Pay Rate: $19.51 / Hour </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle</li>\n <li>Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards</li>\n <li>Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons</li>\n <li>Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles</li>\n <li>Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits</li>\n <li>Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements</li>\n <li>Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post</li>\n <li>Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner</li>\n <li>Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.</li>\n <li>Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.</li>\n <li>Be at least 21 years of age.</li>\n <li>A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.</li>\n <li>Be available to work shifts scheduled at the last minute.</li>\n <li>Be able to meet branch flex travel distance requirements.</li>\n <li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.</li>\n <li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li>\n <li>Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.</li>\n <li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.</li>\n <li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.</li>\n <li>A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Related Attributes That Would Enhance Hiring Consideration:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)</li>\n <li>Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Closing</h2>\n<p><strong>Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</strong> All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race/ethnicity, age, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or relationship/association with a protected veteran, or any other basis or characteristic protected by law.
