The Team:
The Human Resources team supports our employee population by providing the structure, care and development needed for individual employees to be successful in their own careers, which in turn contributes to the overall growth and success of the Company. The Human Resources department is organized in three strategic pillars:
Compensation and Benefits: payroll, health and welfare benefits, retirement plan services, and immigration. Human Resources Business Partners: performance management, employee relations, recruiting and retaining talent, coaching and counseling Talent Development: corporate social responsibility, Diversity, Inclusion & Family, learning and leadership development, internal communications, and employee engagement
The Opportunity:
As the Director, HR Business Partner for the West Region, you will serve as a key leader on the HR team and play a dual role: leading HR strategy and execution for the West Region (5 stores in California), while also managing and developing a direct report, the HR Business Partner supporting the Pacific West Region (6 stores across California, Colorado, Hawaii, and Washington state). This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance direct operational responsibilities with strategic leadership and mentorship.
You will be responsible for driving regional HR initiatives, managing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational effectiveness efforts. This role requires a strong leadership presence, both in-person and virtually, and a deep understanding of California employment law and multi-unit retail environments. This position is located on site in our Beverly Hills Corporate Office.
About the Role:
Strategic Leadership: Inform and drive the HR strategy for the West Region, aligning HR initiatives with business goals and regional priorities. People Management & Development: Responsible for the management and development of the HRBP for the Pacific West Region. Regional Presence: Maintain a strong physical and virtual presence across store locations. Regularly attend regional and store-level meetings to stay informed and engaged. Employee Relations: Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and dispute resolution. Coach and empower store leadership to manage disciplinary actions consistently and fairly. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Oversee full-cycle recruiting and headcount planning. Collaborate with Talent Development and Compensation teams to ensure strategic hiring and internal mobility. Performance Management: Lead the annual performance review process and new hire 30/60-day reviews. Design performance content aligned with company goals. HR Metrics & Reporting: Analyze and report on recruiting effectiveness, retention, and other HR metrics. Provide insights to inform regional and company-wide decisions. Collaboration & Special Projects: Partner with HRBP peers and cross-functional teams to implement new programs and initiatives. Support VP, HR and Regional VP with strategic projects to enhance employee experience. Training & Development: Facilitate training programs in partnership with Talent Development, including compliance, leadership development, and onboarding.
Supervisory Responsibility:
YES - Responsible for the management and development of the HRBP for the Pacific West Region. Serves as a coach and mentor to HR team members and store leadership.
Budget Responsibility:
YES - Manages HR budget for recruiting, hiring, and internal compensation practices. Supports store management in payroll budgeting and cost control.
Decision Making Responsibility:
YES - Responsible for decisions related to recruitment, hiring, employee relations, and dispute resolution.
About You:
7+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-unit leadership in high-volume, high-visibility environments. Proven experience managing and developing people or teams. Background in luxury retail or service-oriented organizations; direct retail store experience preferred. Expertise in employee relations, talent development, recruiting, and performance management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence, coach, and build trust across all levels. Deep understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance requirements. Tech-savvy with proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Kind, effective leadership style with a focus on humility, compassion, and approachability. Travel required; twice annual visits to each boutique within the West Region and periodic travel to other supported regions.
The range for this position is $ 130,000.00 - $155,000.00 annually. Actual rates are determined on the job, location, and individual experience.

The Human Resources department is organized in three strategic pillars:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Compensation and Benefits: payroll, health and welfare benefits, retirement plan services, and immigration.</li><li>Human Resources Business Partners: performance management, employee relations, recruiting and retaining talent, coaching and counseling</li><li>Talent Development: corporate social responsibility, Diversity, Inclusion & Family, learning and leadership development, internal communications, and employee engagement</li></ul><p> </p><p><span><u>The Opportunity:</u></span></p><p><span>As the Director, HR Business Partner for the West Region, you will serve as a key leader on the HR team and play a dual role: leading HR strategy and execution for the West Region (5 stores in California), while also managing and developing a direct report, the HR Business Partner supporting the Pacific West Region (6 stores across California, Colorado, Hawaii, and Washington state). This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance direct operational responsibilities with strategic leadership and mentorship. </span></p><p> </p><p><span>You will be responsible for driving regional HR initiatives, managing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational effectiveness efforts. This role requires a strong leadership presence, both in-person and virtually, and a deep understanding of California employment law and multi-unit retail environments. This position is located on site in our Beverly Hills Corporate Office.</span></p><p> </p><p><span><u>About the Role: </u></span></p><ul><li><span>Strategic Leadership: Inform and drive the HR strategy for the West Region, aligning HR initiatives with business goals and regional priorities.</span></li><li>People Management & Development: Responsible for the management and development of the HRBP for the Pacific West Region.</li><li><span>Regional Presence: Maintain a strong physical and virtual presence across store locations. Regularly attend regional and store-level meetings to stay informed and engaged.</span></li><li><span>Employee Relations: Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and dispute resolution. Coach and empower store leadership to manage disciplinary actions consistently and fairly.</span></li><li><span>Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Oversee full-cycle recruiting and headcount planning. Collaborate with Talent Development and Compensation teams to ensure strategic hiring and internal mobility.</span></li><li><span>Performance Management: Lead the annual performance review process and new hire 30/60-day reviews. Design performance content aligned with company goals.</span></li><li><span>HR Metrics & Reporting: Analyze and report on recruiting effectiveness, retention, and other HR metrics. Provide insights to inform regional and company-wide decisions.</span></li><li><span>Collaboration & Special Projects: Partner with HRBP peers and cross-functional teams to implement new programs and initiatives. Supports store management in payroll budgeting and cost control.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0.35in;\"> </p><p><span><u>Decision Making Responsibility:</u></span><i><span> </span></i></p><ul><li>YES - Responsible for decisions related to recruitment, hiring, employee relations, and dispute resolution.</li></ul><p> </p><p class=\"Secondarylabels\"><u>About You: </u></p><ul><li>7+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-unit leadership in high-volume, high-visibility environments.</li><li>Proven experience managing and developing people or teams.</li><li>Background in luxury retail or service-oriented organizations; direct retail store experience preferred.</li><li>Expertise in employee relations, talent development, recruiting, and performance management.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence, coach, and build trust across all levels.</li><li>Deep understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Tech-savvy with proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Kind, effective leadership style with a focus on humility, compassion, and approachability.</li><li>Travel required; twice annual visits to each boutique within the West Region and periodic travel to other supported regions.</li></ul><p> </p><p>The range for this position is $<span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">130,000.00 - $155,000.00 </span></span>annually.
