Must have experience teaching at least one course in the U.S. History survey sequence and must be able to teach both halves of the U.S. History Survey sequence. Must have the ability to teach courses in our existing African American history curriculum and develop and teach upper-division history courses in race and ethnic history in the United States.</p><div><h1 style=\"font-size:1vw;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></h1></div><p>Experience with digital history. Experience teaching both halves of the United States Survey sequence and additional subfields that augment existing departmental specialties. Demonstrated commitment to collaborative undergraduate education. Ability to contribute to graduate and professional degree programs. Demonstrated ability to relate effectively with students, faculty, and other university personnel. High engagement with majors and the community is highly preferred.</p>",
