Coeur Alaska prioritizes safety, teamwork, career development and growth. &nbsp;If you want to grow your career in a progressive, team-oriented environment, apply today.</p><p><strong><u>About the Job:</u></strong></p><p>The Haul Truck Driver (Underground Miner) will report to the Mine Supervisor and is responsible for safe and efficient operation of 20-ton, 30-ton, and 40-ton haul trucks from underground to the surface. &nbsp;The schedule for this position is 14 days on at the mine site located about 45-miles north of Juneau, accessible only through company transportation, and 14 days off.</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Safely operate 20-ton and larger mine haul truck from underground to surface.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform a thorough walk-around inspection at the beginning and end of each shift.</li><li>Safely and effectively haul and dump material in designated areas.</li><li>Remove garbage and keep the cab of the trucks clean.</li><li>Ensure the truck receives fuel as required and at the end of each shift.</li><li>Follow all safety, environmental, company, and state/federal requirements.</li><li>Willing to stop work for safety concerns, and abide by safety best practices, policies and procedures.</li><li>Assist in general mine labor as needed.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work safely and promote safe behavior in others.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset &ndash; being respectful, reliable, and easy to work with is just as important as technical skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Willingness to assist others, adapt to changing conditions, and proactively solve problems in a dynamic and inclusive work environment.</li><li>Excellent safety, attendance, and work records.</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision.</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, with all mine site personnel.</li><li>Demonstrate initiative as a team member in a growing, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Sets high standards for self and others, builds trust and takes accountability.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications &amp; Skills:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Prior experience working underground operating haul trucks or similar equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Preference given to Southeast Alaska residents.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Notice to Applicants:</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">After submitting your application, you will receive an automated email confirming receipt.
