This role is accountable for service performance, cost control, vendor and asset management, and continuous improvement, and serves as a key liaison between regional sites and global IT teams.<br /><br /><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2><p><b>IT Operations &amp; Service Governance</b></p><ul><li><p>Oversee day-to-day IT operations in alignment with IT service management processes and SLAs.</p></li><li><p>Track service performance and user satisfaction; manage escalations and follow up on tickets with negative feedback.</p></li><li><p>Lead root-cause analysis for incidents and recurring issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.</p></li><li><p>Represent IT Operations in management forums and architecture-related discussions, providing operational input and risk considerations.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Business &amp; Project Support</b></p><ul><li><p>Support regional business ramp-up by ensuring IT operational readiness</p></li><li><p>Coordinate and support global IT projects, including local resource coordination, user communications, and testing support.</p></li><li><p>Communicate clearly with end users and stakeholders, setting expectations and providing timely updates as needed.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>IT Asset Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Own end-to-end IT asset management for end-user devices</p></li><li><p>Forecast annual asset demand and manage budget utilization to support business growth and refresh cycles.</p></li><li><p>Plan and execute device refresh and lifecycle management in line with global standards and compliance requirements.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Financial &amp; Vendor Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Manage and monitor IT operational spending to ensure cost efficiency and transparency.</p></li><li><p>Forecast and track IT operating budgets and contract costs, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Manage vendors and contracts, including invoice processing and tracking, to ensure service quality and contractual compliance.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Continuous Improvement</b></p><ul><li><p>Initiate and deliver IT Operations Continuous Improvement Programs (CIPs) to improve service quality and efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Drive operational optimization, standardization, and process improvements across the local IT environment.</p></li><li><p>Maintain operational documentation and ensure effective knowledge transfer to deskside and support teams.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Leadership &amp; Collaboration</b></p><ul><li><p>Oversee the deskside support team by coordinating closely with Deskside Support Lead and periodically monitoring service quality.</p></li><li><p>Work in strong partnership with IT SMEs, including IT Project Managers, Application Managers, and Network Engineers, to ensure timely achievement of project objectives</p></li><li><p>Function as the central point of contact for IT inquiries and incidents, ensuring seamless coordination with the appropriate teams and focal points</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Qualifications)</b></h2><ul><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree in IT or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 5–8&#43; years of experience in IT operations, IT service management, or related roles.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of IT service management, operational governance, and IT asset management.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in vendor management, contract management, and budget tracking.</p></li><li><p>Experience with AV systems, Network devices/cabling is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment with diverse stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Korean &amp; English proficiency is necessary (written and verbal) to collaborate with local &amp; global teams.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Preferred Certifications)</b></h2><ul><li><p>ITIL</p></li><li><p>PMP or equivalent project management certification</p></li></ul><p></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Additional Information</b></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Time Type:</b></p>Full time<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Employee Type:</b></p>Assignee / Regular<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Travel:</b></p>Yes, 20% of the Time<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Relocation Eligible:</b></p>No<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\">Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
