Description

The K–8 STEM Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The teacher fosters creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving through project-based learning, experimentation, and real-world applications. Responsibilities include developing age-appropriate STEM curriculum and activities, integrating technology into instruction, maintaining a safe and innovative learning environment, and encouraging student curiosity and exploration. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong classroom management, effective communication skills, and a passion for inspiring young learners in STEM fields. Knowledge or experience with Lego Robotics, Sphero Education, and/or aerospace-related education is preferred but not required.
