This position reports to the Operations Manager.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Loading and unloading of trucks and customer vehicles</li>\n <li>Maintain a proficient knowledge of all shipping/receiving processes and procedures</li>\n <li>Picking and put-away of all product types</li>\n <li>Maintain a thorough knowledge of all stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions</li>\n <li>Verify and report on inventory; ensure accuracy in the generation of reports</li>\n <li>Process store entry stock transfers</li>\n <li>Uphold all company health and safety, security and operational policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Respond to customer inquiries and offer solutions in a courteous and professional manner</li>\n <li>Follow up with customers to identify and support their needs</li>\n <li>Promote customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer support </li>\n <li>Review and follow up on order reports on a daily basis</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment an asset</li>\n <li>Experience operating forklifts, order pickers and pallet jacks an asset</li>\n <li>Proficient verbal and written English communication skills </li>\n <li>Able to handle heavy lifting exceeding 50 lbs on a regular basis (loading of appliances and bedding products)</li>\n <li>Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques</li>\n <li>Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings and weekends</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why The Brick?</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive remuneration package that will commensurate with experience</li>\n <li>Career progression potential with plenty of access to ongoing personal and professional development</li>\n <li>Employee discounts</li>\n <li>A dynamic environment to showcase your leadership talents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Apply now</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>The Brick is committed to fair and accessible employment practices and will accommodate people with disabilities throughout the recruitment, application, and selection process.
