Your mission at Mercanis
With Mercanis , we're leading the "iPhone moment" in the procurement world and are now looking for you – a motivated Sales Development Representative(m/f/d) who wants to drive growth and play a key role in the digital transformation of procurement. The Business Development team is our key success factor for further scaling Mercanis. Here, you'll quickly assume responsibility for identifying and personally convincing leads, improving our sales outreach every day. In this role, you'll follow your growth plan and, in just one year, develop from a sales outreach expert to an account executive, assuming full responsibility for your own deals and managing them through to signature. Why do we need you? With Mercanis, we enable procurement to become a value driver within the company, positively impacting the organization. What does this mean? Companies can more easily source higher-quality products at a lower price and, above all, can incorporate sustainability into the procurement process, thus creating a real impact for our world. How do companies achieve this? It all starts with your role as a Sales Development Representative (m/f/d). You'll be the first point of contact for our customers and actively help solve their problems. Through your work, you'll identify suitable customers and proactively contact them. Additionally, your experience will directly influence our processes and continuously improve them with the founders.
Your Responsibilities on this role
Customer winner: By proactively approaching customers via email, telephone, and social media, you expand our customer portfolio. Doer: Get involved right away and be responsible for various tests in lead generation to continuously improve our processes with your learnings. Process designer: Prepare various templates such as scripts or presentations for the business development team and integrate them directly into practice. Market Researcher: You conduct your own research to identify new markets and customer needs, working closely with our senior account executives and the founding team.

Linguistic skills: You demonstrate outstanding written and personal communication skills in German (native speaker level).
