SDI continues to push to be the industry leader and gold standard for corporate governance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia has an immediate opening for a Fabrication Foreman to oversee operations and projects for the Fabrication Department.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise employees and foster culture</li>\n <li>Ensure accurate equipment tracking</li>\n <li>Work with the team to identify and implement solutions for fabrication equipment repair and modifications</li>\n <li>The work area includes automation, including robot welders</li>\n <li>Hands-on supervision, ideally in heavy manufacturing</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Safety: Foremen are responsible for driving all components of “<em><strong>Take Control of Safety</strong></em>\" to their teams (High Risk Exposures, PSIF Initiatives, PSIF/SIF Management, etc.) \n  <ul>\n   <li>Toolbox Talks (Safety Alerts and other safety discussions)</li>\n   <li>Exposure Assessments and Red Tap Challenges</li>\n   <li>Enforcing and coaching of Cardinal Life-saving Rules</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Strong mechanical aptitude</li>\n <li>Proven leadership and supervision skills</li>\n <li>Excellent people skills</li>\n <li>Strong in math</li>\n <li>Highly motivated</li>\n <li>Strong self-starting abilities</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize multiple projects to ensure timeliness</li>\n <li>Computer skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. </strong></em></p>",
